Ranchi. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Friday provided appointment letters to 1,500 newly appointed PGT teachers at a program organized at Ranchi’s Prabhat Tara ground. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, he said that our government has so far handed over appointment letters to more than 20,000 youth in government jobs. If we combine the organized and unorganized sectors, more than 60,000 youth have been given appointment letters. We are taking every possible step to provide employment, self-employment and jobs. Without naming the BJP and its allies, Soren said that these people have ruled the state for the longest time.

But, we are ready to debate on how much work they did for development and employment. We are ready to give an account of our 5 years. Despite their big conspiracies, we developed the state. He said that today in most parts of the country, resources are being handed over to the corporates. Privatisation is going on and due to this jobs are decreasing. Due to the wrong policies of the Central Government, many small and medium industries have closed and employment opportunities have reduced. Airports, railways, industries are being sold. The CM said that Chanakya had said that the country whose king is a businessman, the people of that country will always be beggars. Today the condition of the country is more or less the same.

When we took power, we struggled with the challenges posed by COVID for two years. Even during that time, we did not allow chaos in the state. Our state supplied oxygen to the entire country. When we started working after COVID ended, our opponents started conspiring against us. They started hatching conspiracies with the help of different organizations and tried to stop us from working, but we did not stop. Due to their conspiracies, I had to stay in jail for 5 months. Referring to the poor condition of Ranchi-based HEC (Heavy Engineering Corporation), he said that due to the neglect of the Center, this factory, famous as the mother of industries, is on the verge of closure.

Once 30 to 35 thousand people used to work here and today there are not even three thousand workers. If the central government hands it over to us, we will improve it. Soren, while counting the achievements of his government in the field of education, said that we built a school of excellence. Today we are giving excellent teachers. We expect from you that you prepare the coming generation in such a way that their results are excellent. Education Minister Baidyanath Ram, Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon and Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta also addressed the function.
