Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 110, a new scooter offered in VX and ZX variants. The VX Cast Drum trim is priced at ₹72,000, and the ZX Cast Disc variant at ₹79,000, with these prices being ex-showroom in Delhi. The Destini 110, featuring a smaller engine, serves as a more budget-friendly alternative to the Destini 125 and directly competes with scooters such as the Honda Activa 110 and TVS Jupiter 110.
Hero Destini 110: Design and Build
The new Destini 110 shares a similar design language with its 125cc counterpart, showcasing a neo-retro design, chrome detailing, projector LED headlamps, and distinctive H-shaped LED tail lights. It boasts a 785 mm seat, which is the longest in the segment, along with an integrated backrest, 12-inch wheels, and a front glove box. The scooter is constructed with durable metal body panels and the ZX variant includes a 190 mm disc brake on the front wheel.
Hero Destini 110: Mechanical Details
The Destini 110 is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which produces 7.9 bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. It uses telescopic forks at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear for suspension. The scooter features a semi-digital instrument console and comes in five different color options across both trim levels.
Hero Destini 110: Fuel Efficiency and Market Positioning
Hero highlights the Destini 110’s fuel efficiency, claiming a mileage of 56.2 kmpl. The scooter has been engineered for smooth, dependable, and economical performance. It incorporates Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) and a one-way clutch to boost fuel savings. The scooter will be available through Hero dealerships in phases. The new Destini 110 is competitively priced, undercutting the Activa 110 and offering a more affordable option than the top-spec variants of the Jupiter 110, making it a strong contender in the scooter market.
