Bero Toll Plaza Accident |Nagdi/Bedo (Ranchi), Bijendra Pandey: The high mast tower near the toll plaza fell on the Ranchi-Gumla National Highway (NH-23) of Nagdi police station area. In this accident on Tuesday, 2 women (mother-daughter) died and 5 people were injured. The injured were first sent to Rampyari Hospital and then RIMS from there. The names of the dead are Bandi Uranin (38) and Dashami Uranin (22). Dashami Uranin has a 5 -year -old daughter. Her husband died last year. Dashami and Bandi were a resident of Kulli village of Itki police station area. Former Minister of Jharkhand government and Congress leader Bandhu Tirkey told reporters at Nagdi police station that compensation of Rs 2-2 lakh will be given to the dead by the state government. He also said that compensation will be given by NHAI to Rs 15 lakh to the dead and Rs 5-5 lakh to the injured.

JCB’s help to evacuate people from auto
The accident occurred near the toll plaza of Pokalo Dhoda Bridge in Nagdi police station area. Highmast light pillar fell on the ride auto. Due to this, 2 women riding in Tempo died. The ride was going from auto Bedo towards Ranchi. The 5 people injured in the accident were taken out of the auto with the help of GCB with the help of villagers and sent the hospital. After the accident, there was chaos. All the employees of the toll plaza ran away. The villagers vandalized the toll plaza. In view of the anger of the people, Nagadi and Itki police are camping at the scene.
People jammed the road near Malar Bridge
Earlier, angry people blocked NH after the accident. People blocked the road near Malar Bridge. In this, the BDO-CO car of Itki was also not allowed to go ahead. After explaining the public representatives and police and administrative officials at 7:30 in the evening, people vacated the road. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) project director Ekta Kumari has been called to the spot.

Jharkhand government minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey, former MLA Bandhu Tirkey, Congress leader Ajay Nath Shahdev and many leaders reached the spot. All these leaders are standing in Nagdi police station and have asked the project director of NHAI to come there.
