During his visit, Rubio held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Kuala Lumpur. These discussions, which lasted an hour, were characterized as ‘constructive’ and ‘positive’ by Rubio. The agenda included navigating trade tensions and addressing strategic stability and potential collaborations. The meeting took place during regional meetings in Kuala Lumpur.
