Highest T20I Score Record: Cricket is not called a game of uncertainties for no reason. Records here are meant to be broken as soon as they are made. Now just look at Nepal’s record of 314 runs during the Asian Games to be held in China in the year 2023, when it was made, it seemed that this record could hardly be broken. Just a few days ago, the Indian team came close to breaking this record by scoring 297 runs against Bangladesh, but they did not get success. However, after 11 days this record has finally been broken and this work has been done not by the great teams like India, Australia or England but by Zimbabwe.

Let us tell you that in the 12th match of the T20 World Cup Qualifier played at the Ruaraka Sports Club Ground in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, the Zimbabwe cricket team captained by Sikandar Raza scored 344 runs in 20 overs against Gambia, which is a new world record. . Earlier this record was against Nepal, which had scored 314 runs against Mongolia.

Captain Sikandar Raza scored the fastest century

Zimbabwe batted first in this match, in which all the batsmen performed well. Openers Brian Bennett and T Marumani together scored 98 runs in 5.4 overs. Marumani scored 62 runs in 19 balls, while Bennett scored 50 runs in 26 balls. Captain Sikandar Raza completed his century in just 33 balls, which is a new record for the fastest century among ICC Full Members teams in T20 International.

Raza scored 133 runs during his innings, adding 141 runs in 40 balls with Clive Madande as Zimbabwe set a world record score of 344 runs in 20 overs. Among full member countries, this record was in the name of Team India, which had scored 297 runs against Bangladesh.

Zimbabwe made the record of hitting most sixes

Zimbabwe’s batsmen performed brilliantly in this innings and hit a lot of sixes. Captain Sikandar Raza hit maximum 15 sixes and also hit 7 fours. Madande scored 55 runs in 17 balls and hit 5 sixes, while Marumani hit 4 sixes. Overall, Zimbabwe hit 27 sixes in this innings, due to which they also broke Nepal’s world record of 26 sixes.
