This information has been given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway. He has said that in view of the crowd of passengers in trains, it has been decided to run Holi special train. Train number 08897/08898 will run from Gondia to Patna and Patna to Gondia via Ranchi. 08897 Gondia-Patna Holi Special Train (Via Ranchi) will depart from Gondia on 11 March 2025 and 12 March 2025.

Gondia-Patna-Gondia Holi special trains will have 2 coaches of SLRD, 6 general category coaches, 9 coaches of second class sleeper, 2-tier coaches, 2-tier coaches of air-conditioned 2-tier, 1 coach of air-conditioned 2-tier, air-conditioned 2-tier cum air-conditioned 3-tier, 2-tier co-air-conditioned 3-tier, 2-tier-tier combined 3-tier will have 2 coaches of combined 3-tier joint coaches and a total of 23 coaches including air-conditioned 2-tier coaches.
