    Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Jagdalpur, where he launched the 20th installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana from Lalbagh Maidan. He praised the large crowd that gathered despite the rain and acknowledged the Bastar Dussehra festival. Shah also mentioned his visit to the Danteshwari Mai temple. A prominent announcement was the commitment to end Naxalism in Bastar by March 31, 2026. He appealed to those involved in Naxal activities to consider the surrender policy and highlighted the Bastar Olympic Games, encouraging participation.
