Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal. The honorarium of the people’s representatives of the body has been increased in Madhya Pradesh. There has been an increase of 20 percent. The honorarium of everyone from the chairman to the councilors has been increased. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made this announcement today.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Urban Women Public Representatives Conference and Rakshabandhan program at his residence on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has invited all women public representatives of urban areas to the program. In the same program, the Chief Minister announced a 20 percent increase in the honorarium of elected representatives. On this occasion, the CM said that Janmashtami will also be celebrated with great pomp in the state.
Addressing the conference and Raksha Bandhan program, Madhya Pradesh BJP President Vishnudutt Sharma said that the strength of BJP is the sisters of Madhya Pradesh. The biggest contribution behind winning 163 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh is of the sisters of our state.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked for women empowerment. On this occasion, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that India is the only country in the world where women are worshipped. These are the values of India. Society cannot be imagined without women power. Madhya Pradesh is the first state which gave 50% reservation to women in urban bodies.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav launched the TDR portal through a single click. He also started TDR certification. The Chief Minister also gave certificates to five women. Women public representatives presented Rakhi to the CM.
While addressing the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the month of Sawan is the king of all the months. Raksha Bandhan festival comes and sisters look towards their maternal home. The Chief Minister explained the importance of Hindu festivals. The CM said that only India has recognized the power of sisters in the world. That is why in India people say Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Raksha Bandhan is a festival of two threads. This bond has created history in the world.
He said that the government has decided that now every festival should be celebrated through the government. The Chief Minister praised Minister Sampatiya Uike. 3.50 lakh Rakhis were collected from Mandla district. The CM gave information about TDR. The CM said that if Bhuraswami’s land is lost in road widening, he will get FR.

All the women mayors, chairpersons, municipal corporations and city council presidents and councillors from across the state participated in the program. The program was arranged by the Municipal Corporation.
