Godda. In Jharkhand, a new beginning of the housing revolution has started to give respect to the poor. The Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey Singh has started the process of increasing the assistance given under the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana from Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. He described it as a historical step towards a dignified life.

The minister has directed to increase the target of housing schemes for the year 2025-26. Along with this, one percent quota under Abua Housing Scheme has been said to be reserved for casual circumstances. A special public relations campaign has been announced to publicize the schemes on a large scale, under which publicity material will be sent to the panchayat level. This promotional material will also include pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister and Minister Deepika Pandey Singh.

Under the Abua Awas Yojana, instructions have been given to distribute the amount of Rs 230.79 crore available in the accounts maintained at the state and district level within a week. At the same time, emphasis has also been laid on spending the amount of Rs 3000 crore fixed for the financial year 2025-26.

Apart from this, instructions have been given to strictly follow the supply of material and the deadline of construction under the Prime Minister’s Tribal Human Rights Housing Scheme, so that quality and transparency can be ensured.

Minister Deepika Pandey Singh said that this is not just a home, but the foundation of a respected life. The government is continuously working for the poor.
