A hidden feature allows you to remotely control any other iPhone using your own iPhone. This is an excellent tool for assisting family and friends with technical issues, especially for those less familiar with technology. The process involves a FaceTime call and the iPhone’s Remote Control feature.

To remotely control another iPhone, follow these steps:

    1. Start a FaceTime video call with the iPhone you want to control.
    2. Ask them to share their screen by selecting the ‘Share My Screen’ option. Their iPhone screen will then be visible on your device.
    3. During screen sharing, you can choose to ‘Request Remote Control’.
    4. The other user needs to click ‘Allow’ to grant you control of their iPhone.

This feature lets you open apps, adjust settings, provide assistance, and guide them directly on the screen.

The feature allows for convenient remote technical support, helping to solve problems directly by operating the other person’s phone. Importantly, it’s secure, as remote access requires the user’s permission.

Make sure your iPhone’s software is updated if you’re unable to use this feature. This feature only works to control an iPhone from another iPhone.
