‘War 2,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, has finally premiered. The movie is the first collaboration between these two major stars and marks Jr. NTR’s Bollywood debut. The film is expected to have a strong opening, but faces strong competition from Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’.
According to early estimates, ‘War 2’ is projected to earn Rs 52.5 crore on its opening day across India. The Hindi belt is expected to be the strongest market, contributing Rs 29 crore. The Telugu market is projected to bring in Rs 23.25 crore, with the Tamil market contributing Rs 25 lakh.
Despite the anticipation, ‘War 2’ is anticipated to have a lower opening day than ‘Coolie,’ which brought in Rs 65 crore.
‘War 2’ also features Kiara Advani and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. Ayan Mukerji directed the movie, which was produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The movie has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Jr. NTR reflected positively on his experience while filming ‘War 2’, praising Hrithik and director Ayan Mukerji. He mentioned Hrithik’s energy and what he learned while filming. The movie is scheduled for release on August 14th.
Surprise cameo appearances are made by Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in ‘War 2’. Bobby Deol’s appearance in the post-credit scene sets up the plot of the film ‘Alpha’, which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, where Bobby Deol will be playing the antagonist. Anil Kapoor is revealed as the new R&AW chief.
