Hyundai has launched the Creta King, King Knight, and King Limited special editions in India, celebrating the SUV’s tenth anniversary in the market. These new editions introduce cosmetic and feature upgrades to the popular compact SUV, targeting the growing mid-size SUV segment.

Pricing and Variants: The Creta range commences with the E variant, priced at approximately ₹11.10 lakh. The EX variant is priced at ₹12.32 lakh, S at ₹13.54 lakh, and S(O) at ₹14.48 lakh. The new King editions command higher price points, with the King variant ranging from ₹17.88 lakh to ₹20.61 lakh depending on engine and gearbox configurations. The King Knight and King Limited Editions are positioned at the premium end, with prices surpassing ₹20 lakh.

Key Design and Feature Highlights: The King variants are distinguished by their 18-inch alloy wheels, matte black paint finishes, and exclusive badging. Interior upgrades include a driver seat memory function, an 8-way powered passenger seat with a walk-in function, and a seat-back table with cup holders. The King Limited edition gets branded elements on cushions, mats, and key covers, and the King Knight features matte alloy wheels.

Wider Availability of Features: Hyundai has made several premium features available across a wider range of Creta variants. Dual-zone climate control with a touch panel, a dashcam, and wireless smartphone connectivity are now available in models such as the Creta N Line. This move highlights the increasing demand for upscale features, even in mid-range trims.

Powertrain Details: The engine options for the Creta remain the same, including the 1.5 petrol, 1.5 diesel, and 1.5 turbo-petrol. These engines are offered with manual, CVT, automatic, and DCT transmissions. The Limited and Knight trims are exclusively offered with automatic transmissions, designed to attract customers seeking a more premium experience.
