By India Today Sports Desk: Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar stated on Tuesday that he was pleasantly stunned when the Mumbai Cricket Assoction revealed their plans to put in a life-sized statute of him on the Wankhede Stadium within the metropolis. Tendulkar thanked the MCA, saying he’s grateful and that his life has come a full circle.

Sachin Tendulkar, who started his cricket journey within the maidans of Mumbai, realised his dream by successful the World Cup title in 2011 on the iconic venue. He additionally performed his final Test, his 2 hundredth Test, towards the West Indies on the venue in 2013.

The life-sized statue of Sachin Tendulkar is all set to be unveiled on his fiftieth birthday, April 24, 2023 on the Wankhede, in response to information company PTI.
