State Bureau, Naiduniya: Bhopal: The state government transferred nine IAS officers late on Tuesday night. Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has once again returned to the Higher Education Department. In his place, Sukhveer Singh, Principal Secretary of Horticulture and Food Processing Department will now be the Chief Electoral Officer.
Amit Rathore replaces Manish Singh
At the same time, Principal Secretary Amit Rathore, who was handling the Commercial Tax Department till now, has been made the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department. Principal Secretary Finance Manish Singh is going on central deputation, so Rathore has been given the responsibility in his place.
Transfers after cabinet meeting
Let us tell you that after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, there was a meeting between Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Chief Secretary Veera Rana for about an hour. After this, orders were issued for new postings of nine IAS officers. Transfers of some more IAS and IPS officers may still happen.
On the other hand, in another order, the General Administration Department has handed over the services of Finance Department Secretary Ajit Kumar to the Central Government on deputation for five years. He has been appointed Deputy Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India.
