Naiduniya Representative, Jabalpur. Indira Gandhi National Open University will now give a postgraduate degree in Bhagavad Gita. Now the course for this has started. Not only this, from this session IGNOU has started dozens of new courses including MBA Construction Management, Hospital and Healthcare Management.
This information was given by IGNOU regional officer Dr. Vivek Srivastava in a press conference on Sunday. He said that students can take admission in IGNOU courses from 14th August.
According to Vivek Srivastava, the new rules of UGC have dual degree program, in which students can do degree or certificate course through distance education in addition to regular course. IGNOU has started many courses including MA Corporate Social Responsibility, MSc Renewable Energy, MSc Information Security, MSc Home Science with Community Development.
Dr Vivek Srivastava said that IGNOU, while fulfilling its social responsibility, provides free education to the prisoners in jail. All facilities from books to examinations are free for them. He said that admission can be taken in IGNOU courses online.
