Campaign to stop private buses from operating outside the city begins, bus offices sealed

Action has been initiated to remove the buses of private travel agencies operating from within Indore city. The committee formed by the district administration has shut down the illegal bus depots of various bus operators operating in the city. This is the first time that action has been taken against the offices of big operators like Hans and Multani Sona.

All buses going to other states will have to operate via the bypass. Pickup points on AB Road and Ring Road will also be closed. Bus operators will only be able to operate booking offices in the city.

Action on the offices of bus operators

Action was taken against the offices of private bus operators as part of the exercise to improve traffic in the city. The district administration sealed the offices of several travel agencies operating long distance buses from the city on Thursday.

A month ago, Collector Ashish Singh had warned all such travel operators to start operating their buses outside the city within a month. But this had no effect on the bus operators. The operators of Hans Travels have always failed this campaign of the district administration.

The biggest problem is the well with a cover

Due to its influence, Hans Travels has been operating from the covered well without any hindrance. Not only this, the buses of Hans Travels stand fearlessly on this entire route. This causes disruption in traffic.

Today, the district administration sealed the offices of Ashok Travels, Multani Sona and other travel agencies including Hans Travels and made it clear that long distance buses will be operated outside the city under any circumstances. District Collector Ashish Singh said that soon the operation of long distance buses of AICTSL will also be started from new bus stands.
