They put a song in it, ‘Jeka Baag Ka Kaleja Dekar Upar Wala Bheja’. Hiranagar TI PL Sharma had called them for arrest. Residents angry with the incident have surrounded the police station and raised slogans against the police.

    During this, a heated argument broke out between the BJP workers and the TI. The TI angrily said, “You can shoot me… I will file a case against you for obstructing government work.”

    A case of assault and Atrocity Act was registered

    On the complaint of Anil Kalawat, a resident of Lahiya Colony, the Hira Nagar police on Friday registered a case against Ravi Prajapat (Bhagyalakshminagar), Subhash Yadav (MR-10), Yuvraj Gurjar (Sukhaliya) and Jitu Yadav (Mangal Nagar) under the Atrocity Act for assault.

    Roaming around fearlessly with a baseball bat

    The accused beat up the restaurant owner Anil and behaved indecently using casteist words. TI PL Sharma was investigating. When the accused were called to the police station on Saturday, they came with a baseball bat. They roamed around fearlessly in the police station with a baseball bat.

    There was an uproar after the video appeared on social media

    When the video came on social media, there was an uproar on Sunday. Residents of Kashipuri Colony reached the police station and raised slogans. After the reprimand of DCP Zone-3 Pankaj Kumar Pandey, the police station came into action. The accused have been arrested and sent to jail. An apology video was made and broadcast from both of them.

    Such a case has happened earlier also in Indore

    This is not the first case of making a video inside a police station in Indore city. In July, a young man made a video of himself smoking a cigarette in the station in-charge’s room in Juni Indore police station. In the video, he was calling himself a DSP. After which action was taken against him.
