The relatives who were suffering from pain for many days reached the ENT department of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Jabalpur with their child. When they explained their problem, the team of doctors said that surgery was the only solution. As soon as the family members agreed, the operation was done and happiness returned to two families.

    14 year old Bhuvaneshwar Prasad, a resident of Amarkantak, swallowed a paper pin while playing about three months ago, which passed through the windpipe and reached the heart. After swallowing the pin, he often had pain in the stomach. The medical doctors removed the two inch sharp pin by performing an operation using the telescope method, after which Bhuvaneshwar is relieved.

    Through the Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana, a successful surgery was done to give a new life to an innocent child. This made his parents very happy. Subhash Shukla, District Manager of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram gave this information.

    Eight month old boy Vatsalya Pandey suffered from heart disease

    Subhash Shukla said that eight-month-old boy Vatsalya Pandey, suffering from heart disease, living in Gangasagar of Gadha, was provided relief under the Chief Minister Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana under the guidance of Collector Deepak Saxena and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Mishra.

    Under the guidance of nodal officer Dr. SS Dahiya, the RBSK team which reached Anganwadi for health checkup found that the child Vatsalya was suffering from heart disease since birth. Dr. Megha Jain, Dr. Deepshikha Jain and ANM Vineeta Patel provided this information to Subhash Shukla. After getting the child examined by a subject specialist of the district hospital, recommendations were made to Civil Surgeon cum Chief Hospital Superintendent Dr. Manish Mishra and Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sanjay Mishra. The child was referred to the government-recognized Narayana Heart Hospital Mumbai.
