Australia A is currently playing a series of two unofficial Test matches against India A in India. The first match resulted in a draw. The second match is scheduled for September 23rd at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. A substantial update has arisen concerning the Indian team before the second match, indicating a major adjustment. Shreyas Iyer, who was the captain for India A in this series, will not be playing in the second unofficial Test match against Australia A. Iyer has taken a break for some rest and has gone back to Mumbai. He has informed the selectors about his absence, but he is still expected to be considered for the upcoming two-Test series against the West Indies, which starts on October 2nd. Dhruv Jurel, who was the vice-captain in the first match, will be the captain in Iyer’s absence. No new player will be added to the team to replace Shreyas Iyer. KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj are expected to join the team for the second match. Mohammed Siraj may replace Khaleel Ahmed. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy might miss the match due to a knee injury.
