    Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba formalized their commitment to collaboration by exchanging agreements. Prime Minister Modi characterized their discussions as productive and purposeful. He announced a joint initiative for the next decade. Modi acknowledged both countries as leading global economies and democracies. He positioned the partnership as crucial for both nations and for global stability. He emphasized the alignment of strong democracies in shaping a better world. The strategic vision encompasses investment, innovation, economic security, environmental sustainability, technology, health, mobility, and cultural exchanges. A goal of 10 trillion yen in Japanese investment in India over the next ten years has been established. A special emphasis will be on integrating the small and medium-sized enterprises and startups of both India and Japan.
