    In the opening match of the India A vs. Australia A three-match ODI series, India A, under Shreyas Iyer’s captaincy, delivered a spectacular performance, resulting in a dominant win. Played at Kanpur’s Green Park, the match showcased India A’s batting prowess, followed by a strong bowling display. The team’s success was evident in their massive score of over 400 runs, followed by restricting Australia to under 250. India A won by a margin of 171 runs, taking a 1-0 lead in the series. After losing the toss, India A batted first and put up a huge score. Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer’s outstanding centuries laid the foundation for the team’s score of 413 runs for 6 wickets in their 50 overs, making it the third time India A had reached the 400-run milestone in List A cricket. Priyansh Arya scored 101 runs off 84 balls, with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Shreyas Iyer’s innings of 110 runs included 12 fours and 4 sixes. Prabhsimran Singh scored 56 runs from 53 balls, and Riyan Parag added 67 runs from 42 balls. Ayush Badoni provided a quick boost with 50 runs off 27 balls. For Australia, Will Sutherland took two wickets, and Tom Straker, Liam Scott, Todd Murphy, and Tanveer Sangha each took one wicket.

    Chasing a challenging target of 414 runs, Australia had a promising start, but the Indian bowlers dominated later in the innings. The Australian team was eventually bowled out for 242 runs in 33.1 overs. Nishant Sindhu was the pick of the bowlers, taking four wickets for 50 runs in 6.1 overs. Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets, and Ayush Badoni, Yudhvir Singh, Simarjeet Singh, and Gurjapneet Singh each contributed with a wicket.
