    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a weather advisory, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in various regions of India in the coming days. This forecast encompasses northwest, west, east, central, northeast, and southern peninsular India. Several regions are likely to experience rainfall exceeding 21 cm, which could disrupt travel, agricultural activities, and daily routines.

    The IMD predicts very heavy rainfall in eastern Rajasthan on July 3. Furthermore, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and eastern Rajasthan can expect continuous rainfall from July 3 to 9, and eastern Uttar Pradesh and western Rajasthan are likely to see similar conditions until July 5.

    Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Haryana, Chandigarh, and western Uttar Pradesh between July 5 and 9. Rain is also expected in Jammu from July 5 to 8. Special alerts for very heavy rain have been issued for Himachal Pradesh (July 5–7), Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Haryana (July 6–7), and eastern Rajasthan (July 4–6).

    Very heavy rainfall is predicted for South Konkan, Goa, and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 3, with heavy rains likely to return to these areas on July 6 and 7.

    Heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated across Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas, and Gujarat throughout the week. Heavy rains are also expected in Saurashtra and Kutch.

    Very heavy rain warnings are in place for East Madhya Pradesh (July 3–7), West Madhya Pradesh (July 4–6), and Odisha (July 3–5). Chhattisgarh is expected to receive very heavy rains on July 6 and 7.

    Very heavy rainfall is forecast for Kerala and north interior Karnataka on July 3, coastal Karnataka on July 4 and 5, and south interior Karnataka on July 4.
