    Rajnath Singh and Admiral Dong Jun convened at the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meeting in Qingdao, China. During the meeting, Singh called for sustained progress in bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of avoiding any new complications. Discussions were described as ‘constructive and forward-looking.’ The resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was also acknowledged.

    In a parallel development, NSA Ajit Doval met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties, including fostering stronger people-to-people links. The importance of combating terrorism to preserve regional peace and stability was a major topic. Other regional and global concerns were also addressed.
