A fresh security alert has been issued for India as intelligence reports reveal a significant consolidation between Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), two prominent Pakistan-based terror groups. The organizations are said to have held a critical meeting in Bahawalpur, Punjab, to coordinate upcoming attacks targeting India.

Bahawalpur, a city historically linked to terror planning and previously targeted by India during ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to the Pahalgam attacks, is once again at the center of these concerns. Photographic evidence has emerged showing JeM commanders alongside Saifullah Kasuri, the deputy chief of LeT, at this recent meeting in Bahawalpur.

This visual confirmation strongly suggests active operational synergy between the LeT and JeM. Intelligence sources also indicate that the Pakistani military and its intelligence agency, the ISI, may be providing support or guidance for these coordinated terror efforts.

Concurrently, terror launch pads are reportedly being reconstructed in Rawalakot, a region within Pakistan-administered Kashmir. These facilities were previously incapacitated by Indian forces during military actions earlier this year. Furthermore, last month’s intelligence suggested the JeM was preparing a new suicide squad, possibly in response to the Red Fort car bomb incident, with the intent to launch attacks inside India. Fund-raising efforts are allegedly ongoing to support these operations.

The mobilization of funds for these terror networks operating from Pakistan is being facilitated through various channels. Donations are reportedly being solicited under the pretense of supporting Kashmir, allegedly with the implicit backing of local authorities. Digital payment platforms, including the Pakistani app SadaPay, are purportedly being used to channel these funds, mirroring its alleged role in financing the Red Fort attack.

The unified operational approach by the LeT and JeM, coupled with the rebuilding of terror infrastructure in strategic locations such as Bahawalpur and Rawalakot, signals an escalating threat to India. Indian security agencies are maintaining a state of heightened readiness and are closely monitoring all intelligence inputs to preemptively thwart any potential terrorist activities and ensure national security.
