India’s representative at the UN, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, called for a ‘two-state solution’ to address the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. He emphasized the importance of diplomatic talks. During the High-Level International Conference, the focus remained on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. India insisted that humanitarian aid should not be subject to political constraints. India’s stance centers on an immediate ceasefire, uninterrupted humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages, and the pursuit of dialogue. Harish also mentioned the requirement of uninterrupted aid to Gaza, consisting of fuel, food, and basic amenities. He highlighted the loss of lives, destruction of healthcare facilities, and denied access to education for children. India expressed its dedication to achieving peace and its willingness to support tangible improvements in the lives of Palestinians.
