    The Asia Cup 2025 has seen strong starts from India and Pakistan. India beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their opening match, winning by 9 wickets. Pakistan had a major victory against Oman, winning by 93 runs. Both teams are now gearing up for their match in Dubai on September 14th. In the lead-up to the India-Pakistan game, Salman Agha, Pakistan’s captain, who was out for zero runs in the first match, made a confident statement.

    Reflecting on the win against Oman on September 12, Salman Agha expressed that the team has been performing well in recent months and needs to maintain the same level of performance. He suggested that with the right execution of their strategies, they can beat any team. He anticipates a great match against India. He also mentioned the need for improvement in batting, while acknowledging the strength of the bowling unit, including the spinners. He highlighted the variety the spinners provide and commended Sam Ayub’s performance. He emphasized the importance of having multiple spin options in the UAE conditions and praised his team’s spin attack.
