Marking a pivotal moment in international discourse, India introduced the Responsible Nations Index (RNI) in New Delhi, hosted by the World Intellectual Foundation at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. Unlike conventional rankings that prioritize GDP or military strength, RNI assesses countries across ethical governance, social equity, environmental care, and global stewardship—offering a holistic view of true leadership.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind, as chief guest, passionately articulated the need for moral governance and shared prosperity, positioning them as cornerstones for enduring national and planetary advancement.

This index is the culmination of three years of scholarly and policy work spearheaded by WIF, bolstered by expertise from JNU and IIM Mumbai, challenging outdated paradigms of national power.

The program spotlighted a thought-provoking panel, ‘From Human Welfare to Global Duty: Rethinking Responsibility, Prosperity, and Peace in the 21st Century,’ led by Finance Commission chair NK Singh. Esteemed speakers included Prachi Mishra of Ashoka University, CSEP’s Dr. Lavish Bhandari, Axis Bank’s Neelkanth Mishra, JNU’s Shantishree D. Pandit, IIM Mumbai’s Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, ex-Paris University head Prof. Eduard Husson, and retired Justice Arun Kumar Mishra.

In his address, WIF secretary Sudhanshu Mittal described RNI as a revolutionary framework that realigns governance with human-centric values.

Ending on a high note, the event released the full RNI report, heralding a fresh chapter in promoting responsible nationalism and global synergy.
