India-South Africa ODI: Ranchi Boosts Security with 5,000 Personnel

With the India vs. South Africa ODI cricket match just around the corner on November 30th, Ranchi is implementing a high-level security strategy at the JSCA Stadium. A massive contingent of 5,000 security personnel has been deployed to maintain order and ensure the safety of everyone involved. This security framework encompasses specialized forces like the ATS, IRB, and RAP, supplemented by district police and female officers. The operational command will be managed by a team of six IPS officers, 15 DSPs, and more than 30 station house officers. Essential support services, including fire services and water cannons, will be on standby. The Radisson Blu hotel, serving as the accommodation for the players, has also received enhanced security measures, with constant vigilance from high-ranking officials. The commitment to providing a secure environment for this significant sporting event is evident, with plans including plainclothes police presence and systematic patrols to deter any potential threats.
