The 14th Delhi Literature Festival (DLF) unfolds February 6-8, 2026, at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, transforming Janpath into a hub of intellectual fervor. Centered on ‘Literature, Culture, and Prosperity,’ it positions literature and culture as cornerstones of comprehensive wealth, embracing mind, society, and creativity.

Inaugurated by Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the festival gathers India’s and world’s finest authors, intellectuals, poets, leaders, artists, and emerging stars. It champions dialogue across eras, via enriched sessions that provoke thought, ignite creativity, and affirm arts’ societal impact.

Amid dwindling focus times, DLF targets Gen Z with dedicated panels led by influencers Shalini Passi and Riya Sharma, making literature relatable and urgent.

Dr. Ajay Sharma of the committee affirmed, ‘DLF fortifies deep contemplation and cultural bonds, with Gen Z sessions to draw in the youth.’ He praised governmental support, including from Delhi CM Rekha Gupta.

High-profile guests: Rekha Gupta, Kapil Mishra, Bansuri Swaraj, Dr. Meenakshi Jain. Keynote addresses by Keshav Chandra, Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, K. Sathish Nambudripad, and Tim Curtis.

Perfectly timed with India-Spain’s 70th diplomatic milestone as the ‘Year of Culture, Tourism, and AI,’ sessions gain international flavor. Featured: DY Chandrachud, Vinod Kumar Shukla, Acharya Prashant, Rahul Pandita, Shalini Passi, Lakshmi Murdeshwar Puri, Rahul Bhattacharya, Dr. Mani Rao, Neelotpal Mrinal, Shambhu Shikhar.

Explore literature’s dialogues with justice, faith, reporting, creativity, and social dynamics. DLF, a 2013-registered entity rivaling top fests, fosters enduring ecosystems for exchange.

The finale: Author Awards 2026 across 13 categories, jury-selected for outstanding contributions. DLF 2026 emerges as a landmark, empowering literature to shape reflective, harmonious futures.
