A significant military agreement has been established between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, structured similarly to NATO, meaning an attack on one nation is considered an attack on the other. A joint statement confirmed the agreement’s intention to bolster the security of both countries and contribute to worldwide peace. This pact also includes the development of defense cooperation between the two nations. India is keeping a close eye on the implications of this agreement.

India has reacted to the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, mentioned that the government had prior knowledge of the agreement. It will now evaluate the impacts on national security, regional, and global stability.

He stated that India is committed to safeguarding its national security and interests. The agreement was signed in Riyadh by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
