BENGALURU: The Tata Advanced Systems Ltd (TASL) and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) have delivered the one hundredth Akash Air Force Launcher (AAFL) to the Indian Air Force. It was developed by the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO).
The occasion was flagged off by Dr BHVS Narayana Murthy, DG-MSS, DRDO, on the Vemagal facility of TASL close to Bengaluru on Tuesday. TASL had additionally equipped 49 Akash Launchers earlier to the Indian Army.
