18 killed, 20 injured after roof of crematorium collapses in Ghaziabad’s Muradnagar
New Delhi: In a tragic incident in Ghaziabad, 18 folks have been killed on Sunday because the roof of cremation floor collapsed in Muradnagar space of the town.
More than 20 folks have been injured and brought to hospital after the roof collapse. The roof caved in when about 25 folks took shelter on the construction whereas it was raining. Most of them have been relations of a lifeless individual, whose physique was being cremated at the moment.
The crematorium is claimed to be simply 4-6 months previous.
A workforce of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is conducting the rescue operation.

Senior officers advised to organize report
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the lack of lives within the incident.
The chief minister directed officers to offer monetary help of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of every of the deceased, an announcement issued by the state authorities mentioned.
The chief minister additionally directed the Divisional Commissioner of Meerut and ADG Meerut zone to submit a report on this connection.
