The West Bengal School Service Commission has published the names of 1,804 candidates who have been deemed ineligible, acting on the Supreme Court’s instruction. The Supreme Court had ordered the Commission to reveal the list of tainted candidates involved in the cash-for-jobs scam. The West Bengal Central SSC issued a notice explaining that the list was being released in accordance with the Supreme Court’s order dated August 28, 2025, in the matter of BEJOY BISWAS & ORS. Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS. This list includes candidates whose selections had been previously overturned by the High Court and confirmed by the Supreme Court.
