In a bold step towards rapid progress, the Telangana government has established a Cabinet sub-committee to devise a 99-day action plan for departmental execution. This comes as part of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision to supercharge welfare and development across the state.
Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will chair the panel. Members include N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, representing critical sectors. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao’s government order sets the framework, appointing the Planning Principal Secretary as convener.
Speaking at a review meeting, Rao stressed precision and pace: every department must deliver fast, clear, and trackable results. Secretaries are under orders to prepare detailed, deadline-driven strategies immediately.
The plan spans March 2 to June 9, with a CM-chaired review on February 28 and district collectors’ meet on March 1. Focus areas encompass rural development, health, education, agriculture, revenue, tourism, industries, housing, energy, and labor. Key thrusts: sanitation campaigns, rural infra boosts, healthcare growth, and efficient welfare rollout.
Anticipating action, officials are preparing inaugurations for ready buildings and shifting projects from paperwork to reality. This high-velocity initiative could redefine Telangana’s administrative efficiency, promising tangible gains for citizens in record time.
