A transformative CSR endeavor by the Adani Foundation is underway in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh district, where the ‘Shourya Path’ scheme is grooming 24 rural youths for armed forces induction. These selected individuals from Gondulppara and nearby villages in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh – including Tamna, Purunga, Dhirouli, and Lamatola – have commenced a no-cost 90-day stay at the Rashtriya Raksha University, Ahmedabad, for BSF-oriented training.
The program’s holistic approach covers peak physical conditioning, unwavering discipline, rigorous prep for entry exams, certifications in private security, and foundational cyber security knowledge. It’s tailored to ready participants for roles in defense, paramilitary units, and the growing private security landscape.
Villagers are buzzing with optimism. ‘This isn’t just training; it’s a launchpad for self-reliance and national pride,’ shared a community member. Complementing this are the foundation’s established interventions: mobile medical services, merit-based scholarships, tuition centers, SHG strengthening for women, safe drinking water, and vital infrastructure projects.
In an era demanding skilled security personnel, ‘Shourya Path’ exemplifies how targeted corporate initiatives can unlock potential in underserved areas, paving the way for empowered youth and resilient communities.
