Agnipath scheme: IAF receives over 1.83 lakh purposes in 6 days

NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has acquired over 1.83 lakh purposes underneath the Agnipath recruitment scheme inside six days of the registration course of, an official communication mentioned.
The registration course of that started on June 24 had seen the submitting of 94,281 purposes by Monday, and 56,960 purposes by Sunday.

Under the scheme, the federal government had mentioned youths between the ages of 17-and-a-half and 21 years could be inducted for a four-year tenure, whereas 25 per cent of them can be subsequently inducted for normal service.
