Air India is addressing two recent incidents. One flight from Kozhikode, Kerala, returned to its origin shortly after takeoff due to a technical malfunction. The airline promptly arranged for a substitute aircraft and provided passengers with refreshments. The flight has since been cleared for departure. Earlier in the week, another Air India flight from Hong Kong to Delhi reported a fire upon landing. All passengers and crew were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The aircraft has been grounded for inspection.
