NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has agreed to listen to on Friday the bail plea of Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair in reference to a case registered in opposition to him in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly outraging non secular emotions.
A trip bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and JK Maheshwari stated on Thursday that the matter be listed on Friday topic to clearance from the Chief Justice of India.
Senior advocate Colin Gonsalves, showing for Zubair, stated his anticipatory bail was rejected by the Allahabad High Court and subsequently he was arrested.
