Amit Shah Exposes TMC Corruption Trail in Bengal Speech

In a blistering address that electrified supporters, Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of orchestrating every major corruption episode in West Bengal during a high-stakes rally in Bolpur.

The April 13 event saw Shah meticulously dismantle TMC’s image, connecting the dots across scandals like cash-for-query deals, job-for-cash schemes, cattle and coal smuggling operations, PDS embezzlements, and unauthorized land occupations. ‘TMC’s shadow looms large over Bengal’s corrupt underbelly,’ he asserted powerfully.

He portrayed the state’s residents as fed up with chronic maladministration, ready to vote for transformation in the assembly elections. Shah’s rhetoric blended outrage with optimism, rallying the crowd for change.

Reiterating BJP’s agenda, he committed to rolling out the Uniform Civil Code without fail. ‘We’ll dismantle discriminatory customs, like multiple marriages, replacing them with uniform justice,’ he promised.

Targeting Mamata Banerjee directly, Shah decried the irony of women’s plight under a woman chief minister. ‘Night curfews for women? Unacceptable,’ he said, pledging BJP governance where females traverse streets safely at odd hours on two-wheelers.

Citing tragedies at RG Kar, Kasba, and Durgapur institutions, Shah vowed zero tolerance for gender violence. ‘Safety first—women will thrive without fear.’

Addressing poll threats, he warned TMC disruptors: ‘Polling dates are April 23 and 29. Misbehave, and post-May 5, central forces will ensure your incarceration.’

Shah’s performance has boosted BJP’s campaign momentum, framing the elections as a showdown between corruption and clean governance in West Bengal.
