Social activist Anna Hazare on Monday mentioned he’ll launch an agitation in New Delhi in January on points regarding farmers. In his letter dated December 28, issued from his native village Ralegan Siddhi of Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district, he mentioned, that he has determined to once more sit protest in Delhi from subsequent month.
On December 15, Hazare wrote to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and warned of resuming starvation strike if the Centre doesn’t fulfill his calls for together with the implementation of the suggestions made by MS Swaminathan Commission.
Hazare mentioned if the federal government implements the suggestions made by the MS Swaminathan Commission, solely then will the suicide circumstances of farmers may be stopped. Vegetables, fruit, milk’s Minimum Support Price (MSP) also needs to decided, he demanded.

Farmers have been protesting alongside borders of Delhi for over a month in opposition to the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. They have been demanding the repeal of those legal guidelines.
The agriculture sector reform legal guidelines have been projected by the Central authorities a transfer that will take away middlemen and permit farmers to promote anyplace within the nation.
