Army jawan dies of bullet harm as service weapon goes off by accident in J&K’s Poonch

JAMMU: An Army jawan died of a bullet harm as his service weapon went off by accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Wednesday, officers stated.
The service rifle of the soldier belonging to the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles unit went off by accident, leading to a bullet harm to him, within the border belt of Mankote, the officers stated.
The injured jawan was rushed to a hospital, the place he was declared “brought dead”, they stated.
The inquest proceedings have been launched.
