Thursday brought the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, India’s calculated retaliation against terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK. The Indian Army’s action last May avenged the Pahalgam massacre, striking at the heart of enemy networks.

On April 22, Pakistan-sponsored The Resistance Front, tied to LeT, executed a sectarian attack in Pahalgam, killing 26 by religiously profiling victims – 25 tourists and one heroic local. The brutality shocked the nation.

To honor the event, the Army posted a riveting video on X, from the attack footage to strike visuals, including PM Modi’s post-massacre speech: ‘India will find and punish every terrorist and enabler.’ His iconic line, ‘Terror can’t pair with talks, trade, or shared waters,’ crystallized India’s policy.

‘India’s retaliation was firm, measured, accurate. We defend our sovereignty relentlessly. Justice prevails. Jai Hind,’ read the Army’s message. The defence staff chief’s HQ termed it ‘national resolve incarnate.’

Executed over May 6-7, the operation highlighted India’s multi-domain capabilities, taking out terrorists with minimal collateral.

This observance, amplified by the viral video, reinforces India’s zero-tolerance for terror. It signals to the world: India’s resolve is ironclad, its strikes unerring, protecting citizens at all costs.
