August 15 Budgam grenade assault: Third LeT terrorist arrested

SRINAGAR: Security forces on Monday arrested a “hybrid terrorist” of Lashkar-e-Taiba concerned within the August 15 grenade assault on a minority habitation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district, taking the overall variety of arrests within the case to 3.
The terrorist was recognized as Suhail Ahmad Malik, police mentioned.
“Police today arrested one more hybrid terrorist of proscribed outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba who was involved in a grenade attack on minorities,” a police spokesperson mentioned.
He mentioned incriminating materials together with a hand grenade was recovered from Malik’s possession.
On Saturday, police arrested two different “hybrid terrorists” of LeT concerned within the assault that came about in Gopalpora in Budgam’s Chadoora space.
A civilian was injured within the assault.
