JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has confirmed the impending political debut of Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, driven purely by the enthusiasm of party workers and state residents. This isn’t dynastic entitlement but a democratic demand from the ranks.
Kumar clarified that the call for Nishant’s involvement arises from a shared desire to perpetuate Nitish Kumar’s blueprint for Bihar’s growth. Workers have vocally pressed for his active role, underscoring broad-based support.
Formal membership for Nishant is on the cards soon, coupled with his plans for an extensive Bihar tour to engage directly with the masses. JD(U) members are thrilled, their enthusiasm palpable at this leadership infusion.
Turning to national politics, Kumar fiercely opposed the opposition’s no-confidence motion targeting the Lok Sabha Speaker. He stressed that respecting the Constitution—penned by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar—is non-negotiable for democracy’s guardians.
‘Framers of the Constitution never envisioned such unwarranted sieges on the Speaker,’ he said, accusing the opposition of impotence leading to constitutional sacrilege. Leaders who flaunted the document are now its saboteurs, he alleged.
‘People have long spotted these political drifters,’ Kumar concluded, positioning Nishant’s entry as a stabilizing force against such disruptions.
