Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several development projects in Bihar, including the launch of four Amrit Bharat trains. These projects, collectively valued at more than ₹7,200 crore, are expected to significantly enhance the state’s infrastructure and connectivity. The new train services will connect Patna, Motihari, Darbhanga, and Malda Town with major cities like Delhi and Lucknow. Alongside these initiatives, the Prime Minister distributed benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin and released funds to Self-Help Groups through the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission. The rail projects encompass automatic signaling, track doubling, and upgrades for high-speed train maintenance.
