Union Minister Chirag Paswan has responded to Rahul Gandhi’s comments concerning elections, stating that Gandhi has already conceded defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections. Paswan believes Gandhi’s criticisms of the Election Commission and other institutions are a reflection of his anticipated loss. Paswan suggested that Gandhi should examine the issues within his own party rather than making accusations against other bodies. Paswan added that the Congress party is expected to lose in states such as Assam and Bengal. Tejashwi Yadav, from the RJD, supported Rahul Gandhi’s allegations, accusing the BJP of undermining constitutional institutions. He claimed that the BJP is aware of election schedules before the ECI announces them. Rahul Gandhi had previously criticized the ECI’s response to his claims regarding Maharashtra elections, which the ECI said were unfounded.
