Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha underscored the NDA’s commitment to the people’s wishes and the development of Bihar, as the state gears up for assembly elections. He sees the upcoming elections as a chance to eliminate those who have, in his view, hindered the state’s progress. In a parallel development, Chirag Paswan, head of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), announced his party’s support for the NDA in all 243 assembly constituencies. This has spurred conversations around seat-sharing within the NDA. The LJP is seeking 40 seats, with other allies also expressing their demands. The BJP and JD(U) are reportedly eyeing 100 seats each. Election dates are pending official announcement from the Election Commission.
