The India AI Impact Summit 2026 at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam turned spotlight on Bihar with the launch of its pavilion on Tuesday. Running through February 20, the expo—inaugurated by PM Modi on the 16th—brings together global leaders to explore AI’s transformative potential.
Bihar heavyweights, including Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Dilip Jaiswal, and Shreyasi Singh, officiated the event. The pavilion spotlights Bihar’s drive to become a frontrunner in IT and AI within Eastern India, prominently featuring the launch of ‘Bihar Semiconductor Policy 2026’ and ‘Bihar GCC Policy 2026’ to court global investments.
Day two saw PM Modi advocate for technology rooted in public good, invoking a Sanskrit verse that champions the steps of wisdom: aspiration to learn, focused audition, grasp, deliberation, and resolution.
With 13 countries participating—from Europe and Asia to Africa—the summit displays over 300 themed pavilions on People, Planet, and Progress. Additionally, 600 startups are pitching AI solutions poised for worldwide disruption.
This platform positions Bihar strategically in the AI race, signaling robust government commitment to tech infrastructure and innovation. As conversations deepen, expect announcements of collaborations that could fast-track Bihar’s semiconductor ambitions and elevate its global tech stature.
