AIIMS Bhubaneswar Climbs the Ranks: 2nd Best Emerging Medical College in India

AIIMS Bhubaneswar continues to make strides, achieving the 12th position among the top medical colleges nationwide in the 2025 India Today-MDRA Best Medical Colleges Survey. Moreover, it has been recognized as the 2nd best emerging medical college in the country. This acknowledgment reflects AIIMS Bhubaneswar’s commitment to outstanding healthcare and educational standards. The survey, a collaborative effort between India Today and MDRA, assessed institutions using key parameters like intake quality, academic excellence, infrastructure, personal development, and career progression. Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, shared that this honor demonstrates their continuous pursuit of excellence. AIIMS Bhubaneswar has risen significantly, from 25th rank in 2021 to its current position, which underscores their dedication and leadership. The campus held a special event attended by faculty and administrative staff to celebrate this achievement. This recognition is in line with the vision of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose goal was to improve tertiary healthcare.
