Bihar: 100 Hospitalized for Food Poisoning in Muzaffarpur Village

A case of mass food poisoning has been reported from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where approximately 100 villagers were hospitalized after consuming a religious offering. The incident took place in the Katra block, where a family had organized a traditional prayer ceremony. Emergency medical response was triggered immediately after the local primary health center was notified. Dr. Kumar Kalyan, overseeing the treatment, confirmed that the symptoms were consistent with food-borne pathogens. He assured the public that the situation is now under control and the majority of the patients have shown significant improvement.
